The Ambassador Apartments are situated on Chevron Island in the heart of Surfers Paradise on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Within walking distance of the city centre and beaches, the apartments cater for families, couples and single holiday makers.The apartments are for eligible persons only, accompanied by their families.

The apartments is a 3 story walk up building (no lifts), are air-conditioned, fully self-contained and well-appointed with excellent kitchen facilities, fully equipped laundry, a large flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD player and free Wifi (limits apply). All units have an ensuite and a walk-in robe to the master bedroom and built-in robes in the other bedrooms. Everything is provided in the apartments, including linen and towels.

The complex has a private outdoor recreation area with a heated swimming pool, BBQ facilities and secure underground parking.

The Ambassador Apartments are located at 9-13 Parnoo Street Chevron Island in the heart of Surfers Paradise. Within easy walking distance to the shopping centre, nightlife and Surfers Paradise’s main beach you can park the car for the duration of your stay and enjoy the best the Gold Coast has to offer, including Queensland’s beautiful climate.

Within easy driving distance are a number of the Gold Coast’s favourite theme parks including; Sea World, Movie World, Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and Wet & Wild.

Add the Gold Coast’s famous surf beaches, fishing, rainforests and whale watching, and there is something for everyone. Here is a full list of Gold Coast attractions.

Accommodation consists of :

  1. Four (4) x 2 bedroom apartments comprising of one queen size and two single beds (maximum occupancy is 4).
  2. Five (5) x 3 bedroom apartments comprising of one queen size bed and four single beds (maximum occupancy is 6)
Three tariff seasons apply at Ambassador Apartments; High, Mid and Low Seasons.

  • Occupancy is from 1400 hours day of arrival to 0900 hours day of departure.
  • Long stay bookings during school holidays periods are generally from Fri to Fri in week blocks. During other periods, we will try to meet your bookings preference, subject to availability.
  • Short stay bookings will normally only be confirmed 10 days prior to the first night of the booking.

COVID 19. The apartments are re-open for holiday stays effective 01 October 2020. At the direction of the Board there will be revised booking protocols which the management team will 'walk' guests through on booking and on arrival. Any concerns/comments in relation to these protocols are to be directed to the Secretariat via the Contact Us tab on this site.

The following details are required for all enquiries and booking requests:

  • The eligible members rank, name, PM keys number or service number and military status;
  • Postal address, mobile number and email for the eligible Member;
  • The number of people in your party;
  • Your preferred dates; and
  • Your credit card details (to secure the booking).

Confirmation of Bookings, subject to vacancies, will be given:

  1. Serving RAAF - 12 months ahead;
  2. All others - 6 months in advance;
  3. Short Stays (less than a week, minimum 2+nights)

Notes:
An eligible member may normally only book one unit at a time for a 1 week period during school holidays, and a 2 week period at all other times.

 

Accommodation for Family holidays ONLY. We DO NOT take bookings for sporting or other groups, or Members travelling for work reasons, or commercial bookings.

The eligible Member MUST be one of the Guests staying for the entire duration of the booking.

Online bookings are in week blocks Friday - Friday during School Holidays.
Bookings for all other times are open.

Bookings are restricted to 1 apartment for 1 week per family during all Australian School Holiday periods regardless of how many entitled Members are in that family.

Extra days during School Holidays can only be booked within 10 days of the arrival date (subject to availability).
